The Southern Maine Workers' Center and Portland Outright are teaming up to raise awareness about wage theft in our communities and participate in a national day of action against wage theft.

Please join us for a screening of the documentary The Hand That Feeds, which tells the stories of workers in a popular bakery & cafe in New York who faced wage theft, dangerous conditions, and abusive treatment, and took incredible risks in to organize and fight back.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments and good conversation will be provided.
